Garlic Miso Chicken Wings

To the Japanese, Miso is a gift from God. It is made from pure soybeans, sea-salt,,well or mountain water. Miso is excellent for people with weak digestive systems. It is also good for those on a course of antibiotics which can destroy the helpful bacterial culture in the intestines. Miso is alkaline and help to neutralize the acidity in the stomach and help prevents morning sickness and nausea.


1 kg chicken wings
2 tbsp garlic minced
3 tbsp Awase Miso
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp mirin
1 tbsp sesame oil

Rinse the chicken and pat it dry with paper towel.
Prick the chicken with a fork and put them in a Ziploc bag.
Marinate the chicken wing with minced garlic and miso paste
Keep in the fridge for at least 4-6 hours (preferably overnight).
About 3 hours before cooking, add soy sauce and mirin in the bag and mix well. Keep in the fridge until you are ready to cook.
Grill or bake using oven or air fryer.
