Braised Five Spice Minced Pork Rice 台湾卤肉饭

卤肉饭是台湾著名的饭食,几乎每一间饭店都可以吃到。卤肉饭美味又耐饱,在家里自己做的话,加上一道青菜便是简单的便餐了。

Serve 3
Preparation time: 15 mins
Cooking time: 30 mins

Ingredients:
1 tbsp oil
5 pips garlic, peeled and diced
3 slices ginger
2 dried chilies
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
500g pork belly, chopped

Seasoning:
2 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp light soya sauce
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp five spice powder
1 tsp dark soy sauce
700ml water

Method:
Heat up oil, sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant
Add in the remaining ingredients and stir fry until aromatic
Add in seasoning and bring to boil
Lower the heat and simmer for 1 hour or until the sauce is thick
Dish up and serve with rice
