1 kg Collar Butt Pork
4 tablespoon Maltose or honey
2 tablespoon Brown Sugar
2 tablespoon Char Siew Sauce
2 tablespoon Oyster Sauce
2 tablespoon Light Soy Sauce
2 tablespoon Cooking Wine
2 teaspoon Minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon bi-carb
In a heat proof container, marinade the pork with all the ingredient and leave in the fridge to marinade overnight
Preheat the Airfryer to 200°C for about 5 mins. Shake off access Char Sui Sauce before roasting in the airfryer
Put the pork in the basket and roast for 10 mins. Brush the remaining sauce in between roasting
Lower the temperature to 160°C and roast for 10-20 min until is perfectly charred.
Remove the meat and set aside to let it cool before slicing it.
Put the remaining marinade in a small saucepan
You can use the sauce to drizzle over the char siew or rice.
