Minced Pork and Prawns Pot Sticker 锅贴(猪肉和虾)


My son ask me to make dumplings again! So this time round I decide to add in some prawns for a change.

200g Minced pork
300g Prawns – chopped
200g Chives – chopped
500g Store bought Gyoza wrapper

2 tablespoon Soya sauce
2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Dark soya sauce
2 tablespoon Sesame oil
2 tablespoon Oil

Put the minced pork and prawns in a big bowl, put in the soya sauce and stir well (use 4 chopstick and stir in one direction only)
Put in the rest of the seasoning one at a time and stir well before adding the next seasoning
Put in the chives and stir well
Take one piece of Gyoza wrapper and put in 1 teaspoon of filling and apply some water round the edges and wrap into the desire shape.
Place them on a tray that line with baking paper
Put in the freezer and freeze well before storing them in freezer bag

To cook:
(Do not thaw the dumplings)
Heat oil in pan and fry the base only, when it start to sizzler, add 100ml of water, cover and cook till water is absorb and dumpling is golden
Serve with black vinegar and thinly slice ginger.
