阿嬷 Sotong 肉碎🐙🐙🐙🐙Minced Pork Stuffed Squid

  
This is another ‘agar agar” dish that my mother in law cooked often when I lived in Singapore.  Since I moved here, I have been trying to recreate this dish and finally today is a success! Over the years, the problem I have is either too much or not enough meat, too salty or not salty, and I hate it when the meat exploded out from the squid if I fill it too much! Today, all went extremely well, no wastage of meat, and the meat stay intact through out.  ☺️☺️☺️

Ingredients:

150g Minced pork

12 pieces small sotong

1 teaspoon minced garlic

100ml water
Seasoning:

1/8 teaspoon Salt

Dash of Pepper

1/2 teaspoon Sesame oil

1/2 teaspoon Light soy sauce 

1/4 teaspoon Dark soy sauce
Method:

Season the minced pork with the seasoning

  
Stuff the minced pork into the sotong’s body about half full

   

Heat oil, fry garlic till fragrant

  
Add in the sotong and lightly fry till color change

  
Add water and 1/4 teaspoon dark soy sauce and simmer till cooked, thicken with a bit of cornflour solution and serve.
